Yes, company-owned/private apps can be distributed using the Managed Google Play store
Yes, company-owned apps can be uploaded as private apps to the Managed Google Play store directly from the HMD Enable Pro management console. Once the app has been uploaded to the app store, it can be distributed to all the preferred devices. The private apps are not publicly available, as the Managed Google Play limits the visibility to your organisation only.
To upload a private app, an APK file needs to be added to the “Private apps”-section in the management console. Updating private app’s details on Google Play Console is done via “Make advanced edits”-option.
Only packages for which the user has upload and hosting privileges in Managed Google Play should be uploaded. APKs from third parties should not be uploaded unless an agreement authorising such action exists.
